Felicia, the rather small, and rough looking dragoness was sitting in a tree, her tail curled around the branch, overlooking a herd of fanged deer. Her mostly green and brown colouring making her seem invisible. She drooled slightly at the sight of them. She had eaten just over a week ago and could do with more food. She glided down to a tree nearer to them, closer to the ground too. She kept her wings open and bared her sharp teeth (longer and sharper than a regular dragon's), before landing on one of the doe's and digging in her claws as it bucked, grabbing her teeth around it's neck and ripping it's throat out before managing to jump onto the stag as it flew past, killing him just as easily, only coming out with minor wounds and a sore paw. She dragged the stag back over to the doe and began eating, slowly devouring each one before resting once she had a full stomach. She dragged whatever meat she had left and somehow got it up the tree. She rested her head on it, using it as a pillow and curled her tail around the branch, watching the surroundings again, looking quite intimidating.

Having decided to explore a part of the swamp he'd never ventured into before, the smaller then normal swamp dragon flits his way across the ground, hopping over or around anything that got in his way with practiced ease. While he was out in the open, the dragon blended in extremely well with his surroundings, matching his colors with anything nearby -almost- perfectly except when in the middle of a hop or evasion of an obstacle in his path, and only then could it be seen that he was colored with random dark brown spots about his body, with everywhere else being colored a green that had the same dark tint to it. Happy that he had at last summoned the courage to explore, the swamp dragon would appear to be bouncing with joy, as much as one could when it was necessarily to remain as unnoticeable as possible at all times. As was the usual way of all who walked on the earth and didn't go above it, his eyes were only on the ground and his immediate surroundings, and would not even give notice to the other of his kind in the tree as past her location by a couple meters. The nature of camouflage being that it was less useful the more one moved or the closer they were to another, she would be able to see that he was looking extremely well fed, along with, if she looked closely, a pale white line that made it's way from his right shoulder blade to stop just before the place on his throat where a slash wound would turn from heal-able to lethal and resulting in death.

Felica had smelt the other dragon before actually seeing him. This was a scent easily recognisable. Young male swamp dragon, and alone. Standing up, she looked down and picked out the young dragon easily from her well developed eyesight, silently moving across the branch as the he walked. Her tail was wagging slowly, and she bared her teeth with a silent growl. She picked up he was somewhat weaker than a normal swamp dragon, or at least she thought, and glided swiftly down from the tree to one closer to him, and to the ground. She kept her wings open, again, like she was hunting that deer a few minutes ago. Within seconds the he would feel a huge impact on his back, this was her attempt on pinning him down. She would keep a paw on him and sniff him deeply, wondering wether she should kill him or not if she was successful in keeping him down.

Even though he knew it wasn't the wisest choice that could be made, the young swamp drake had chosen to avoid smelling the air as he went about his exploration, considering it much more interesting to wander about without a clue as to what was around him, trusting the color of his scales to prevent anything from noticing his presence, as well as feeling that the combat skills he'd learned would be enough to deal with -near- anything that could possibly be in the swamp. While avoiding use of his sense of the smell, the swamp drake was not foolish enough as to think that an attack at any moment wasn't possible, and so would willingly dip his body and go in the direction of the impact on his back at the moment he felt it, while at the same time flailing out a left claw to get a grasp on the ground in order to drag his body sideways towards a tree he had seen out of the corner of his eye with the right flicking a badly aimed but fast strike to anything close by, hoping that the being who had delt the impact to feel as if it had managed to land the blow, every muscle flexing with sinuous ease. Even if he didn't succeed in getting out from under her paw and became pinned, he'd abandon any attempt at an escape and reach back with a claw to gouge at what he would hope was the attacker's belly.

Felica grinned as it seemed she had got him, but snarled as he fought back. She backed up on her hindquarters before he reached her though. Naturally, she swiveled around to the the young drake near the tree and snorted, getting in a low crouch position, her teeth bared, wings open and scales spiked. She didn't move apart from this though. She was warning him to back off, and made it very clear she didn't take kindly to him.

Despite having managed to dodge the attack with a reasonably well made plan, the drake had not anticipated that there would be a tree in his way afterwards, and would exhibit an extreme lack of forethought by continuing to head towards it after his dodge to smack his head into it with a small thump accompanied by a tiny meep-like sound, to then stumble back a couple steps and flop on the ground, slightly dazed.
